These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mr. Steam Carpet Care website at mrsteamutah.com ("Site") and any services provided by Mr. Steam Carpet Care ("we," "us," or "our"), a sole proprietorship located in North Ogden, Utah. 1. Services

Mr. Steam Carpet Care provides residential and commercial carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, pet stain and odor treatment, and related services in Weber County and Davis County, Utah. Service availability is subject to scheduling and geographic coverage at our sole discretion.

2. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided through the Site or by phone are estimates only. Final pricing is confirmed on-site after Ben measures the area and assesses conditions. No work begins until the total cost is reviewed and accepted by the customer. Our standard carpet cleaning rate is $0.50 per square foot with a $225 appointment minimum. Additional services (pet treatment, tile cleaning, upholstery) are priced separately and quoted in advance.

3. Appointments and Cancellations

Appointments are scheduled directly with Ben by phone, text, or through our contact form. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. We reserve the right to reschedule due to equipment issues, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control, and will notify you as soon as possible.

4. Results and Limitations

We will advise you honestly about expected results before work begins. Cleaning outcomes depend on factors including carpet age, fiber type, stain type and duration, prior treatments, and overall condition. We make no guarantees that every stain or odor will be fully removed. If results fall short of what we estimated, we will discuss options with you — we do not perform additional treatments without your approval and agreement on cost.

5. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We accept cash, major credit and debit cards, and approved electronic payments. Personal checks are not accepted.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for moving furniture and personal belongings from the areas to be cleaned before the appointment.

We may move a limited number of small, lightweight items at our discretion when it can be done safely. We do not move heavy, oversized, fragile, valuable, or difficult-to-handle furniture or belongings, including beds, dressers, sectionals, entertainment centers, pianos, aquariums, appliances, or electronics.

Areas blocked by furniture or personal belongings may be cleaned around rather than underneath.

• Provide safe, clear access to the areas to be cleaned.
• Disclose known pre-existing damage, stains, or conditions that may affect cleaning.
• Remove fragile, valuable, or breakable items from work areas before service begins.
• Ensure that pets are secured away from the work area during service.
• Provide access to functioning water and electricity when required to perform the scheduled service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Utah law, Mr. Steam Carpet Care's liability for any claim arising from services rendered is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, ordinary wear and tear, or damage resulting from defective or deteriorated carpet, upholstery, tile, or grout that could not have been detected before cleaning began.

8. Website Use

The content on this Site — including text, images, and pricing information — is provided for informational purposes only and may change without notice. You may not reproduce, distribute, or republish any part of this Site without our prior written consent. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Site at any time without notice.

9. Privacy

Information you submit through our contact form or by phone is used solely to schedule and provide services and to communicate with you. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as required by law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Weber County, Utah.
