Mr. Steam Carpet Care

Owner-Operated Since 2021

About Mr. Steam Carpet Care

A one-person carpet cleaning operation based in North Ogden, UT. No franchise. No crew. Just Ben and a truck.

Mr. Steam Carpet Care is owner-operated by Ben Toland out of North Ogden, Utah. Ben started the business in 2021 and has been doing every job himself since day one.

There are no subcontractors. No employees. When you call or text to book an appointment, you're talking to the person who will show up and do the work. Ben drives the truck, sets up the equipment, cleans the carpet, and answers any questions before he leaves.

The business serves Weber County and Davis County — North Ogden, Ogden, South Ogden, Pleasant View, Harrisville, Clearfield, Layton, Farmington, and the surrounding communities. If you're not sure whether we serve your area, just call or text and ask.

Pricing is straightforward: carpet cleaning is $0.50 per square foot, and appointments start at $225. Anything outside standard carpet cleaning — pet odor treatment, upholstery, tile and grout, stairs — is discussed and quoted before any work starts. No surprises.

How We Work

No subcontractors

Ben does every job personally. When you book with Mr. Steam, you get Ben — not someone he hired last week.

Straight pricing

Carpet cleaning is $0.50 per square foot with a $225 appointment minimum. You'll know what it costs before work starts.

Honest expectations

Some stains are permanent. Some odors are deep. Ben will tell you what's realistic before he starts, not after.

Professional equipment

Truck-mounted hot water extraction, Rotovac 360i rotary cleaning head, CRB agitation, and a professional acid rinse every job.

The Equipment

Every job uses professional truck-mounted hot water extraction — not a portable machine.

Rotovac 360i rotary extraction tool. Most carpet cleaning jobs are cleaned with a rotary extraction head instead of a standard straight-pass wand. The rotary head makes multiple passes over the carpet to help flush out soil, residue, and traffic-lane buildup more thoroughly.

CRB agitation (when needed). On heavily soiled jobs, a counter-rotating brush machine is used before extraction to loosen embedded soil, pet hair, and debris from the carpet fibers.

Professional acid rinse. Every job is rinsed with a professional acid rinse injected into the rinse water. This helps neutralize cleaning residue and leave the carpet feeling cleaner after drying.
